Healthcare delivery is changing globally with the integration of technology at all levels. Hospital buildings are also witnessing transformation, this new era needs a new Design Thinking.

Sumandeep Singh has been helping health systems across the globe in setting up of green field and brown field health care environments, with this very aspect in mind. In his role as Vice President and Sr. Medical Planner having been with HKS for 9 years he had the opportunity to work in diverse geographies due to the firm's global foot print.

Having sustained exposure to global healthcare markets and having finished projects in USA, Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau, China and India, he has the unique ability to bring together the best practices in an unprecedented manner.

He possesses a robust understanding of the future of Healthcare Design Trends due to his extensive and active network with physicians, care givers and thought leaders in health.

In 2019, Sumandeep shifted base to Hong Kong with a Senior Medical Planner position for B+H Architects, a Canada headquartered global design firm. Here Sumandeep is responsible for planning a 500 bed Cancer Center for Hospital Authority of Hong Kong under their 10-year expansion plan. He is leading a diverse team at B+H at Hong Kong and Ho CHi Minh city ,Vietnam to make the Grantham Hospital redevelopment successful.

In 2022 , Sumandeep shifted base to Singapore ,back at HKS as VP/Senior Medical Planner, working on the largest public hospital being planned in Singapore - the Eastern general Hospital in East district of Bedok in Singapore.

With this his aim is to salvage his global knowledge in local contexts to provide highly optimized facilities.
